I just wanted to take a minute and talk about Tyreus. Tyreus is a awesome free web host. You don’t pay with money, you pay with Forum posts. If you can meet up to the monthly post limit, you can have some awesome features like PHP, MySQL, Ruby on Rails, your own E-mails (tons of them also), sub domains, and much more.
I am actually a mod on their forums. Everyone on the forums are nice, and the staff is funny and helpful.
I also have my testemony on their homepage. I am posting a picture of it, because with every new member mine falls down and doesn’t display as much.
There are more and more video hosts out there these days, and the quality ranges from best to worst on all of them. I am going to take the four most popular hosts, Godtube, YouTube, Viddler, and Vimeo, and rate them according to these standereds: Video Quality, Website Interface, Video Player GUI, and Community. This was the project i worked on today. Took a few hours, but it turned out really good! Every time you refresh the page a different encouraging bible verse is displayed on a amazing web 2.0 layout. I have yet to see my favorite verse on there, but the one featured is an very encouraging one.
Thousands of users are going to get together and talk about Poverty this year, as part of Blog Action Day 2008. I thought I would help promote it. I think they are trying to accomplish something good by hearing the voices of tons of bloggers trying to find a way to stop poverty. Visit the website for more information.
I’ve made (and am going to keep on making) a T-shirt and bumper sticker about Poverty, and you can check them out here. They say Taxes cause Poverty. It’s true, really. The goverment wants to tax the life out of us.
